We’ve been working together since 2004. In 2012, we left the web behind and started Ragtime – an iOS developer community in North Bohemia – with a huge support of Miton Investments. We moved to a squat office and started working on our ideas.

We never wanted to be a one trick ponny. We believe in good ideas and that they’re something that needs time and care. We never liked the “rise fast – fail fast” philosophy. Just as Scott Joplin said: “It‘s never right to play ragtime fast.”

After a year of preparations, we are opening Ragtime for everyone. And finally, we are launching our first projects.

Well, we have a squat with no rent, internet, toilets, heating and a lot of coffee. We decided to give everyone the oportunity to work here. For FREE.

Take your idea, your team and your desk and move in. There are just a few simple rules:

• decision about inviting new members is up to current members
• give back and share in the way you are fine with
• don’t expect money – we can help you earn them, but we are not angels

Do you need an iOS app? No problem, you can bet we know how to do great apps.

There are two ways how to hire people in Ragtime:

Shadowcode – you don’t have to mention who did the app, but the price is higher (but still very affordable). This way we do coding and UI/UX consultancy, rarely design.

Collaboration – If we love your idea, we are totally able to create a close partnership and set the price low. But there are two sides of this coin. In exchange, we want to be part of the project and have control over the final product.
